One of the most frequently asked questions right now is around fencing kit, where to start, where could we get it from, what sizes and/or brand are the best. If you have been wondering about a fencing kit, then this email has got you covered. Please find below information about fencing kits and some guidance around how to get started.
1. Where to start? Fencing kit includes several different elements, often very confusing to a new beginner and especially for you, the parent, who must purchase these, so we have outlined each separate part of the kit, why it is being used below: 
 
Helmet 

Foil  Belgium Grip, Size 0 or 3 Blade For Kids
Size 5 Blade  for Adults
(keep in mind that some companies do not have Belgian Grip

Glove 

Plastron 800N
 
Jacket

Where could you get a fencing kit?

There are a number of brands that produce fencing kit, the brand we recommend are Allstar (this one is our coaches favourite and go to brand for fencing kit), PBT , Leon Paul which is probably the brand that is most prominent in UK as it is produced within the UK and there is a London Shop based in the Leon Paul centre where you can go and try the actual kit before purchasing it.
